Corporate Giving guidelines
The US Airways Corporate Giving Program invests in community organizations and initiatives that enhance the quality of life in the airline’s hub markets and focus cities of Boston, Charlotte, Las Vegas, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh and Washington, DC.

This commitment is reflected through annual financial and travel donations on behalf of US Airways' giving programs and foundations.

Funding restrictions:
  • Organizations located or serving populations outside of 100 miles of the airline’s hub and focus cities of Boston, Charlotte, Las Vegas, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh and Washington, DC.
  • Individuals, including support for hardship or medical travel, scholarships, camperships, specific students, researchers or conference fees
  • Individual schools and their support organizations (including Booster Clubs, PTA/PTO’s, athletic teams, bands, performing arts groups, alumni associations or reunions)
  • Third party or pass-through fundraisers such as organizations fundraising on behalf of another nonprofit or auxiliary organizations
  • • Political, labor or fraternal organizations, associations or service clubs (i.e. Lions, Rotary, Kiwanis)
  • Sports teams or sporting programs
  • Scouting troops
  • Competitions, beauty pageants or talent contests
  • • Religious organizations or churches or programs that are purely denominational in purpose
  • Organizations or programs funded 50% or more by government sources
  • Organizations whose primary mission is funding medical or scientific research
  • Organizations that primarily provide advocacy for issue related topics
  • A program or event within the next 90 days
  • Start-up organizations as defined as a nonprofit organizations whose 501(c)(3) has been instated less than three years
  • Foundations or organizations which are grant-making entities
  • Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, national origin, marital status, age, disability or veteran status
  • Endowment
  • Capital and building campaigns
  • Debt reduction campaign

All requests must be submitted through the on-line application process. The Contributions Committee meets bi-monthly to review requests. No status calls are accepted. Faxed, emailed or incomplete requests will not be considered. There are no submission deadlines to request a contribution.
